The Wright Museum



SALT CITY tells the story of a brown girl named “ SALT” born and raised in the Salt Mines, who time travels to escape and finds herself in the year 3071. SALT finds love but can’t find her tribe. This production is written by acclaimed poet Jessica Care Moore, and created in collaboration with award winning directors and choreographers, Aku Kadogo and Marlies Yearby, with features from a myriad of Detroit techno music legends.
The event is $10 for students*, $15 for museum members*, and $20 general admission.
