The Wright Museum is the perfect venue for your next special event! The Wright is a distinctive mark of architectural brilliance. Our unique facility offers a 313-seat state-of-the-art theater, a large banquet room, three classrooms, indoor/outdoor cafe, and rotunda beneath a majestic glass dome for a variety of affairs and programs. And, to add that Rental Guide (PDF Download) touch to your event, we can provide private museum tours for your guests – a perfect addition to the perfect event!

Located in Midtown Detroit's Cultural Center, the museum provides the perfect ambiance and services for your function. We can accommodate weddings, recitals, family reunions, corporate meetings, receptions, workshops, church dinners, lectures and many other events. Let your next event be a part of history at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History!

Minimum rental rates include:

• A four-hour event
• Set-up and breakdown time
• Museum staff to help pre-plan and facilitate your event
• Cleaning and security staff for your event

Catering, guided and self-guided gallery tours, the museum store, valet parking and audio-visual equipment may be added for an additional fee.
