Juneteenth
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of slavery's end in the United States. Hosted by the Charles H. Wright Museum's Women's Committee, 2010's celebration was a block party featuring a historical parade, games, arts & crafts, and PAWS, the mascot of the Detroit Tigers!
