Reflections: Intimate Portraits of Iconic African Americans with Author Terrence A. Reese

Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2 PM

Capturing the power and majesty in a single image is a skill very few can master. Photographer Terrence A. Reese showcases some of most striking images of black people in power in his book, "Reflections: Intimate Portraits of Iconic African Americans."

"Reflections" is a black and white documentary-style photography series, which captures the personal living spaces of renowned African Americans whose lives and careers have addressed the fundamental political, economic, and social realities of the 20th century and beyond. Each image is accompanied by personal written memoirs of the photo shoots, revealing a creative collaboration of dialogue and information sharing.
