30 Days to Lose it! Season 6

7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Ladies, want to slim down, stay in shape or just be healthy? Come out for weekly workouts on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. FREE for museum members, $5 for non-members. Members, please bring your membership card. All others, cash and personal checks are accepted.

Attend 8 consecutive sessions and receive a complimentary museum membership, making your next 12 months FREE! For more information please email 30days@chwmuseum.org.

All activities take place on the lower level of the museum; please enter through the back (Farnsworth) entrance. Parking is free on Brush Street or paid parking is available in the Cultural Center lot on John R north of Farnsworth. Metered parking is enforced until 10 p.m.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, four out of five African American women - the leading casualties of such ills as obesity, heart disease and diabetes - are overweight. In response, 30 Days To Lose It!, inspired by the hit TV show, “The Biggest Loser,” was launched in March, 2010. Bring a buddy or 3 and join this safe, fun fitness program for women endorsed by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports!

30 Days to Lose It! is sponsored by Beaumont Health System and St. John Providence. Before beginning any exercise program, an individual should first consult with a physician or other qualified healthcare provider.
