To Be Young, Gifted and Black is a unique, bold and hilarious play that recreates the world of Lorraine Hansberry, a great American woman, artist and writer of A Raisin in the Sun. The actors in this fast paced show journey through various scenes and moods, illustrating the emotions and experiences of Hansberry. A major statement of the American Black experience. This production features The Wright’s own Museum Educator/Outreach Coordinator Jonathan Jones, and Education Specialist Michelle McKinney.
