Is your child a drummer, dancer, actor or artist? Do they love to sing? Do they love to learn while having a great time? Then Camp Africa is for them!


Discover Africa at The Wright Museum through the countries of Mali, Nigeria, Congo, Ghana and Senegal. Camp Africa is a FREE, week-long experience open to children ages 7 - 12, and takes place in two separate sessions this summer:


• Tuesday August 9 - Friday August 12, 8 am - 3:15 pm daily
• Tuesday August 16 - Friday August 19, 8 am - 3:15 pm daily


Parents can register their children starting Thursday July 21 in the Museum's Education Department on the lower rotunda level. Registration forms will also be available at the Museum's information desk, and can be downloaded by clicking the link below:

Parents should attend a one-hour orientation at 10 am on Saturday, August 6 to become acquainted with the program and how it works. Feel free to bring your little ones - there will be fun for them too!  Attendance at this orientation is not mandatory for Camp Africa registration.
