Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 6 PM

Multipurpose Room

The Gent’le Side of Detroit is a photography exhibition featuring the work of twenty 10th and 11th grade male students from Cass Technical High School. These students are part of the Cass Tech GENTS (Great, Excellent, Noble, Talented Scholars), a leadership and mentoring program facilitated by the Great Lakes (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. The CT Gents participated in a six-month photography project aimed at introducing them to the art form of photography. As a signature initiative of The Links called “My Community Through the Eyes of the 21st Century African American Child - Linking Images,” this project was designed to help young people develop their creative thinking skills as well as foster an appreciation for art.

Come and meet the young artists.  Their artwork will be available for sale.

This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information call (313) 494-5800.
