Fela Exhibit Viewing by Yeni Kuti & Lemi Ghariokwu
In January 2012, the museum opened the exhibit Moving to His Own Beat- Fela: The Man, The Movement, The Music. During opening week of the the musical based on Fela Kuti's life being shown at the Music Hall, Fela Kuti's daughter Yeni Kuti and long time friend of Fela and album cover artist Lemi Ghariokwu toured the exhibit at the museum. Both Yeni and Lemi also did an impromptu discussion of the exhibit with students who were visiting the museum that day.
