A Celebration of Neo-Soul & Hip Hop Music

Celebrate the life and legacy of the African American musical producer J. Dilla who was integral in creating Neo-Soul and revolutionized the sound of 90's Hip Hop. Explore S.T.E.A.M. subjects while discovering the dynamic world of hip hop through hands-on activities. Learn to how to lay down a track, write your own rhymes, and much, much more in this music filled day for people of all ages.



• 1pm-5pm: Hands-on S.T.E.A.M. Activities in Multipurpose Room + Movement Space in Atrium + Digital Animation Workshop in Orientation Theater + Food in the Latimer Cafe

• 2pm-5pm: Teen Center + Early Childhood S.T.E.A.M. Activities in Classrooms

• 6pm-8pm: Youth Performances in GM Theater
