The Charles H. Wright Museum & the jess care moore foundation present a musical tribute to Betty Davis and women who rock, featuring Joi, Imani Uzuri, Navasha, Res, jessica Care moore, Steffanie Christi'an, Tarry Torae, DJ Stacey "Hotwaxx" Hale, and introducing the Black Women Rock Orchestra Players: Kat Dyson (Prince, Cyndi Lauper), Emily Rogers, Lafrae Sci, Norma Jean Bell, Aisha Ellis, Cecelia Sharpe, Leslie Dishazer Adams, Ashley Nelson, and Black Women Rock guest vocalists Blue Raspberry (Wu-tang), Alicia Renee "Blue Eyes," and Lulu Dahl.

The FREE accompanying workshop and "They Say I'm Different" Master Class takes place Saturday March 19 from 1 - 3 pm, with a bellydancing workshop at noon and features Black Women Rock! artists and special guests!

A portion of proceeds helps to benefit the JCM Foundation Youth Poetry Forensics Team in Detroit.  This concert is dedicated to the life, memory and legacy of Hassan Mausi Green.
